Warehouse entry procedure

Twelve points of warehouse entry procedure:

  1. No admission to any Logistiko warehouse shall be granted to unrelated persons.
  2. The Ordering Person, as the owner of the goods stored at Logistiko warehouses, has the right to indicate any persons authorised to access the warehouse and to verify the place and method of storage of his/her goods, and the way of performing commissioned operations by the Contractor.
  3. Any requested visits by persons authorised by the Ordering Person to any Logistiko warehouses that contain goods belonging to the Ordering Person shall be notified in writing (in an electronic form, e.g. email) at least two days before the suggested date of the visit.
  4. The visit notification shall contain:
    • a list of persons authorised to conduct the visit on behalf of the Ordering Person (first and last names);
    • suggested date of the visit (day and time);
    • purpose of the visit;
    • estimated duration of the visit.
  5. Within 24 hours, the Contractor will respond to the visit notification by email and confirm the possibility to conduct the visit on the suggested date or indicate another date, as close to the suggested date as possible.
  6. All visits by persons authorised by the Ordering Person may be conducted only in the presence of the Warehouse Manager or any other authorised person indicated by the Contractor. Such a person has to ensure that the visit fulfils the objectives of the visit set by the Ordering Person and that the visit does not interfere with (or impact in the slightest degree) the regular operations of the warehouse.
  7. In order to ensure the safety and smooth process of the visit, all participants shall comply with the safety procedures applicable at the warehouse, with all health and safety regulations related to visiting the warehouse, and with all instructions given by the Warehouse Manager or another person authorised by the Contractor related to movement within the warehouse area or performance of any other activities related to fulfilling the objective of the visit.
  8. The Contractor reserves the right to refuse to grant access to the warehouse to authorised persons as well as those outside the agreed schedule.
  9. Apart from authorised representatives of the Ordering Person, also representatives of courier companies, carriers and deliverers performing their normal activities related to goods delivery procedures, parcel delivery (e.g. returns) or collecting goods are authorised to access the warehouse. In order to perform their activities, they are granted access to the release or acceptance room.
  10. Representatives of courier companies, carriers or deliverers do not have access to the goods that belong to the Ordering Person, except when performing normal delivery or collection procedures after signing a relevant goods transfer document and taking the responsibility for the goods.
  11. Customs Office representatives and representatives of other government offices are permitted to access the warehouse if they are performing their official functions. The Contractor and the Ordering Person acknowledge that permission to access the warehouse and perform functions in the warehouse granted to government officials are regulated by applicable Polish regulations.
  12. In the event of an official control, the representative of the Ordering Person may accompany the control without prior notification to the Contractor.
